Dr. Adam Smith

Dr. Adam Smith, DO, dedicated five years of service to the Bowling Green police force before embarking on a journey toward a medical degree at the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. His commitment to healthcare led him to pursue further specialization through a residency in psychiatry at the University of Kentucky.

Currently, Dr. Smith extends his expertise in outpatient care at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center, offering both in-person consultations and telehealth services. His comprehensive approach encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of various mental health disorders in adult and geriatric patients. These include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar and psychotic disorders, dementia, and substance-use disorders. Dr. Smith is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care to enhance the well-being of his patients.
